Jamie Wyman is a singer-songwriter from Whitefish, Montana. She made her way to songwriting after graduating law school and trying to save the world through social work. She has always wanted to make the world a better place, so she writes anthemic folk rock songs that recreate the qualities of unconditional love: they tell all the truths, see you for who you really are, and bring you through the dark back into the light where hope reigns. Her songs speak directly to your emotions and challenge us all to build a better version of ourselves and humanity.

When Jamie captures a new song, her lyrics are always accompanied by a melody. She loves singing almost as much as writing a surprising and emotional line. In 2020, Jamie’s song “The Nest” was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. She has studied the craft of songwriting with Jim Messina, Justin Townes-Earle, Liz Longley, Susan Gibson and Ari Herstand. In 2018, Jamie founded and led a nonprofit called The Great Blue Song Project, pairing songwriters with people coping with cancer. When the pandemic hit, Jamie decided to focus on her own songwriting and has pursued it full time since 2020. Jamie continues to hone her craft and is currently working on her first concept album.

Jamie’s primary focus is recording and touring with her band (Jamie Wyman Band). They have released a studio album, a live album and several singles. They took the stage at Under the Big Sky Festival in 2023 and Jamie and her husband (bass player Andy Belski) had the honor of opening for Marshall Tucker Band. In 2024, the band will continue to expand their reach through touring in Montana and beyond. They also have several studio singles slated for release.
