Festival Patrons

Become A Patron of The Festival

We are excited about the lineup of songwriters, venues, and schedule for this year’s Inaugural Whitefish Songwriter Festival, September 17-19, 2020. However, we are more excited about the opportunities the festival will provided to support music education in our local communities.

“Too many Montana students don’t have the opportunity to study music or art especially in Rural areas,” said John Tester, a former music teacher in Big Sandy.  “Research shows that when students study music and art, their attendance, classroom participation, and grades improve-including in science and math courses.

“The arts are an important component of all Montana children’s education. They cultivate the whole child and build multiple forms of literacy, vital workforce skills to succeed in the 21st-Century, and understanding of our multifaceted cultural heritage. We must work together to ensure that all students are able to reap the full academic and social benefits of learning in and through the arts.” Denise Juneau, Superintendent of Schools, State of Montana

Since 2016 Rocky Mountain Songwriter Festivals has gifted over forty thousand dollars in support of music education in our local communities.  We are excited to bring this festival to Whitefish and further our support of music education to Whitefish and the Flathead Valley.

Your support as a Patron of the festival will allow us to continue and expand our efforts to support music education.  As a Patron, $1,000 contribution or more,  you will receive:
